Lucas Johnson Description

LEONARD LUCAS JOHNSON, JR. (1940-2002)

Born in Hartford, Connecticut, Lucas Johnson became interested in art on an elementary school field trip and was, for the most part, a self-taught artist. After leaving college, he traveled the country working odd jobs and learning his craft. He lived for an extended time in Mexico before finally settling in Houston.
